SCOPE OF WORK

Provision of 4 nos. of CEG Technicians to carry out

Replacement of 2 transformers.

One for Rectifier 1 and one for Emergency Line. Both are related to the system 40-900-EK-001 (I-3455-21).

This activity has taken around one day for each transformer and will involve 1 TA (CEG) + 2 Electricians (from DTS).

Functional test and Battery Discharge Test for DC & AC UPS’s “SS1” (Located in WAFA Coastal).

According to UPS list provided by DTS, 8 nos. of DC+AC UPS systems are installed on SS1 (WAFA Coastal). To perform the requested functional test and battery discharge test it will be necessary the parallel work of 4 of CEG TA’s + 8 helpers (electricians provided by DTS) and the activity will take minimum 3 days.

Replacement of Stabilizer of Bypass emergency line and rectification of earthing connection links in SS6 AC UPS Tag: 50900EK602 – (Located in NC 41).

RFM 746 shall be made available in site by DTS.

Replacing the stabilizer of Bypass line (I-3645-4) will take around half day (one CEG TA + 1 helper). During last survey carried out by CEG, it was noted that the earthing connection of the Stabilizer was missing. The job was performed by MOG & DTS team.

Functional test and Battery Discharge Test for DC & AC UPS’s “SS5 & SS6” – (Located in NC 41).

According to UPS list provided by DTS, 3+3 nos. of DC+AC UPS systems are installed on SS5 and SS6 (NC 41). To perform the requested functional test and battery discharge test it will be necessary the parallel work of 4 of CEG TA’s + 8 helpers (electricians provided by DTS) and the activity will take at least 3 days.

The required intervention has to be executed during the upcoming MOG plants shutdown during which there will be 3 days to carry out the activities for WAFA Coastal and 6 days for NC 41. The plant shutdown will be in the same days for ‘WAFA Coastal” and “NC41”. The total Shutdown 2016 has been scheduled from 5th April to 14th April 2016.
