WORK DESCRIPTION
The work is to replace Catalyst in the CATALYTIC CONVERTER – 53-582-VF002: 1st Converter Reactor at SRU Train III at Mellitah Complex. The work will be carried out by specialized team in day shift with 10 hours per shift. The unloading and loading procedure is as per the mechanical drawing and operation manuals.

- Claus Converter Catalyst (CR 4/8)
- Catalyst Bed Support (DR 5/10) Bottom L
- Catalyst Bed Support (DR 5/10) Top L
UNLOADING OF REACTOR
- Installation of equipment.
- Emptying the vessel in normal atmosphere by Vacuuming.
- Unloading of the Reactor and filling the big bags with the used catalyst materials.
- Internal Cleaning of the Reactor by brush.
- Inspection of Reactor interior.
- Assembly of internal installations (Mesh Screen).
INTERNAL CLEANING OF THE REACTOR
- DRY CLEANING
- Dry cleaning of the Reactor bottom by brushing and removal of loose product residues, so that the Reactor is brush cleaned.
- Dry cleaning of all internal Reactor installations (brush clean).
- Dust free cleaning using vacuum unit, so that no quantifiable dust remains.
