INTECH’s team performed the white test for the flare tips replacement activity as per the lifting plans in order to keep ourselves ready for the actual activity, which is to be started on 11th of October 2017.

Scope of Work:
To position the 220Tone crane as per the actual lifting plan in order to perform the assessment and the analysis to carry out the Flare tip replacement activity.

Work Execution:
• INTECH team mobilized 220Ton crane and stationed it in its position as per the Lifting plan.
• Required height was 86.9 meter therefore additional fly jib had been installed to cover the maximum required height.
• After applying the required counter weight of 74 Ton and fixing the additional Fly jib, hook and instrument connections, operator started to open telescopic boom in order to reach the required height.
Post the understanding of the operator that all the necessary particulars are in-line with the requirement of the lifting plan, the telescope was extended up, till the required height.
The Operator had lifted 4.5 load 4.5 which is 30% more than the actual load required to be lifted for carrying out the Flare tip replacement activity.
