IMPLEMENTATION OF MODIFICATION FOR UPS SYSTEM “UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY” AT MELLITAH COMPLEX

SCOPE OF WORK

Provision of 02 nos. of CEG Technicians to carry out the implementation of modification of UPS “ Uninterruptable power supply” and the work will be performed as mentioned below:

CEG shall perform the SERVICE of the necessary modification for the UPS System by creating a second

Bus Bar in the system and have the loads distributed between the two bars.

The existing two UPS units will be separated by disconnecting UPS2 output from the standby line of UPS1. Additionally, the standby line of UPS1 will be fed from the output of the stabilizer, therefore; UPS2 (being separated unit) will be used to feed the new Bus Bar, with this arrangement, each Bus Bar (and thereby each power line in the loads)will be fed from an independent power source (with backup battery).

The Work shall be performed on the following UPS units:

• Modification of MCB UPS unit 50900EK101 – I‐3676
• Modification of MCB UPS unit 40900EK001 – I‐3455‐21

Provision of 4 nos. of load bank for battery discharge test.
