Urgently Hiring : Assistant Cook (Continental Cuisine)
We’re hiring an Assistant Cook with experience in continental cuisine to join our kitchen team. This position to support ongoing project activities in Tripoli, Libya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep ingredients and assist head chef with daily meal preparation
- Cook and plate continental dishes to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen (follow HACCP/safety rules)
- Manage stock rotation and help with basic inventory
- Assist during service rushes and follow chef’s instructions
Requirements:
- Prior experience preparing continental/European dishes
- Basic knife skills and food safety knowledge
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and flexible shifts
- Team player with good communication
- Culinary certificate or apprenticeship is a plus
